Dr. Sharma has specialization in soil microbiological research, soil carbon sequestration, drought tolerance and overall productivity of crops, He is fellow of mycological society of India and is recipient of national Senior Scientist ward 2021 by Microbiologists Society, India. There are about 95 important research articles published in refereed journals, magazines and reviews articles in books of international repute and has many microbial accessions with NCBI database and cultures deposited in International Microbial Repository Authorities to his credit.
Dr. M.P. Sahu, former Professor & Head, Department of Agriculture and Environmental Science, National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Kundli (Sonepat), India has earlier worked as Director of Research, Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, India for over a decade (2001-2011), and subsequently as Dean (2011- 2013), Faculty of Agriculture of the University. With Ph.D degree in the discipline of Agronomy; Dr. Sahu has immensely worked on crop stress physiology. During his professional career, Dr. Sahu discovered the role of sulphydryl compounds in improving harvest index and grain yield of maize.
